Washington, DC 6/11/14

This morning we set out to see the newest monuments on the Mall, and ended up walking around the entire Tidal Basin.

Absolutely, as well as the one's Anne's Dad was in. And the plaques lining both sides of the entryway were exquisite in their detail. Dad would have enjoyed them.

I couldn't think of anyone more deserving person to get pooped on by some of D.C.'s finest birds. Did you have to pay extra for that experience?

The monuments at the National Mall are wonderful, really makes you reflect on what the Nation has gone through during its history.
